Nana Dish uses AI-generated food illustrations and may use AI to help organise recipe notes and edit articles. Recipe testing and image generation are separate activities. SOPI LTD remains responsible for publication decisions.
Recipe notes and AI-assisted editing
Every recipe comes from our Nana or a reader who has cooked it and shared it with us. AI may help organise their cooking notes and improve the wording of an article. It does not supply the cooking experience behind a recipe. Article bylines identify writers or editors; the cook may be our Nana or a contributing reader.
AI-generated suggestions do not establish that an ingredient ratio, substitution, timing or method has been tested. Changes must be checked before being represented as part of a tested recipe. We do not use AI to invent personal cooking stories, professional credentials, reviews or test results.
AI-generated images
Our generated images are food illustrations, even when they look photographic. A kitchen-tested recipe may use an AI-generated illustration instead of a photograph. Our standard is to label these images “AI-generated illustration” and check that they represent the recipe’s ingredients, form and presentation. An illustration does not document an actual cooking session or prove a recipe was tested.
Written instructions and authoritative food-safety guidance take priority over details in an illustration. Do not infer doneness, safe storage or allergen suitability from an image.
Testing and attribution
A cooking or testing claim refers to the work of our Nana or the reader who prepared the recipe. An editorial revision, suggested substitution or generated image is not a new cooking test. Contributor credits must reflect the information provided, and third-party text, images and video must be used with the appropriate rights. See our Recipe Testing & Food Safety guidance.
